Didi Ad Astra project

This Christmas Neri Motori wants to contribute in making life better for people in difficult situations by donating to a local project that supports children affected by autism and learning disabilities.

DiDi Ad Astra is a social promotion association founded by parents and care professionals who have come together to create social initiatives aiming at improving the quality of life of people living in vulnerable and isolated circumstances.

Neri Motori donation will make it possible to organise a summer camp for children and young people with autism and learning disabilities.

The camp aims at offering children not only educational and recreational activities but also personalised learning plans, personal autonomy, and activities to make them more aware of the importance of medical check ups (dentist, blood tests, etc.) and orthotherapy.

For participants aged 14-18, in collaboration with businesses in the territory, the camp will offer simulated work experience for jobs like: ice cream seller, cashier, pizza maker or hairdresser’s assistant. These are just some of the proposals offered to the young people and many more are still in development.

Taking place in June and July, the camp will provide one trained educator for every attendee plus supervision by a psychologist.

Thanks to the support of Neri Motori, these young people will be able to enjoy an empowering and educational summer experience.

“Let us be the change you want to see in the world” (Ghandi)

Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
